I forgot to blog fondant baby when I blogged Ali's shower. He's a big rice crispy treat & I never quite made up my mind if he was cute or creepy. He was fun to make though.
I'll do a whole post on Koley's party later, but I can't wait to post pics of the cake. I'm pretty proud of myself.
I used a cupcake recipe for the cake & I wasn't sure how it would turn out...utter fail! I patched it up the best I could with marshmellow cream, but it was a mess. So disheartening.
It turned out pretty well considering. The cake is sloppy, but I like the monkeys. I always mean to buy a cake & just add cute decorations.
They're the fun part.

Of course, the birthday boy had to coordinate his shorts with his cake, because his Mommy's a bit of a dork. 
I have to enjoy this stuff while they'll let me. Pretty soon they'll realize how un-cool it is.
