Happy First!

My little Koley is already one...how did that happen?! I told myself I would savor every moment with this little guy & even though I really have it's still flying by all too quickly.

A year ago he looked like this:


It makes me want to rewind time & snuggle his tiny softness. Of course, there are perks to having an older baby. Kole now:


-sleeps through the majority of nights (finally!)



-claps his hands (and expects praise every time)


-says "hi", "wow", "woah", "uh oh", "I" (in response to "I love you") and "ouch" (he likes to play ouch, which is pulling Mommy's hair. any ideas to discourage this?)


-still does the butt scoot, no walking, crusing or crawling yet. This stubborn little mister thinks he has it all figured out with the scoot!


-has half a tooth, but manages to eat most of what we do. Baby food offends him. He knows he is a big boy.


-steals toys from other kids. I know this is normal, but Kaleb never did & part of me feels like apologizing profusely every time & another part just thinks it's funny, especially when the kid is alot bigger.


-likes to play on his own, but comes to me constantly for hugs...sigh!


-has no fear & would scoot himself into the ocean & off furniture if I'd let him. He loves it when I throw him in the air & I think this kid just might be brave enough to go on Pirates with me!!

I love you Koley & I'm so happy I get to be your Mommy!!!
